2025 Campaign
Delivery of toys will be through the following agencies.
Refer to the local agency that covers the area in which you live.
Follow their directions in order to be eligible to receive toys for this upcoming holiday.
YOUR APPLICATION MUST BE APPROVED BY THE LOCAL AGENCY
IN ORDER FOR YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF TOYS.

For families living in the areas of Saint Joseph, Benton Harbor,
Coloma, Watervliet, Eau Claire, Sodus, Stevensville, and Baroda,
the Salvation Army of Benton Harbor will start taking applications beginning.....
The Salvation Army Benton Harbor will take applications for Christmas Assistance the following dates:
October 29th & October 30th 9AM-11:30AM - 12:30PM-2PM
November 5th & November 6th 9AM-11:30AM - 12:30PM-2PM
November 19th & November 20th 9AM-11:30AM - 12:30PM-2PM
The following items are required:
1) Picture Identification
2) Birth Certificate
and/or Baptism Record for children in the household
and/or
3) Michigan Department of Human Services - Food Stamp Award Letter
and/or
4) Health Insurance Cards
and/or
5) Custody papers
Upon completion of the application
the client will be informed of what day and time
they will receive Christmas assistance.
Our distribution dates will be December 16th & 17th
Emergency assistance will be provided after that date on a case-by-case basis through December 21st.

For families living in the areas of Buchanan and Galien,
Applicants need -
1. Picture ID for head of household
2. Social security number for all recipients of toys
3. Full dates of birth for all family members
4. Toys & gifts will be distributed to children of ages birth to 18 years old.
In person walk-in application dates
- Christmas Toy and Gift Distribution - Families with children may sign up to receive toys and gifts. Sign-ups begin in late October and close in early December. Distribution is in late December.
Applicants must apply to get gifts, but do not need an appointment to apply.

- Return the application with your current valid ID, & proof of children
(Birth certificate or Health cards)
- We will give you an appointment time to pick up toys & a gift card for food.

Regardless of the location,
toys are only distributed to organizations and families who have been formally approved by the local campaign to receive toys.
Campaigns only have toys at distribution events for those organizations and families approved and assigned to the event.
If you attend a distribution event that has not been approved and assigned to you,
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE TOYS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
